‘Watch’ out for more than cricketing action

World’s third largest watchmaker, Timex, has now added another feather in its cap by announcing their association with the ICC World Cup as the Official Product Licensee for the ICC World Cup 2011. Timex has also launched the exclusive ICC World Cup 2011 watch collection to capture the hearts of fans in a cricket crazy nation like India. The World Cup would be held in the tri-nations of India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in February, 2011. The new collection was launched by ace cricketer Virender Sehwag, Mr. Kapil Kapoor (COO, Timex Group, USA) and Mr. Wadhwa (MD, Timex Group India Limited).

The sporty new ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 collection is designed by an internationally acclaimed designer Giorgio Galli at his design centre based out of Milan. The collection of comprises of 12 watches, each one celebrating the passion that is cricket. An audacious blend of effortless luxury and classic sports-watch styling, the collection reflects the cricket lovers dream. These timeless timepieces have classy leather straps and circular dials with ICC logo. Debuting in steel bracelet and leather strap options, the collection also has watches that have stitching patterns that represent the contours of a cricket ball. The price range of these watches is Rs. 1400 – Rs.6000. The collection will be available in Timex Time Factory stores, Shop-in shops and select multi-brand outlets.
