The Timex Sales and Marketing team exhibited at the Winter Outdoor Retailer Trade Show from Wednesday, January 23 to Saturday, January 26 in Salt Lake City, UT last week. Outdoor Retailer (OR) brings together retailers, manufacturers, industry advocates and media to conduct the business of outdoor recreation through tradeshows, product demo events and web-based business solutions. For brand Timex, the tradeshow provides the platform to launch new products, meet with retail partners to plan assortments, garner new accounts and write orders.
The NEW Timex® Ironman® Run Trainer™ 2.0 with GPS Technology was launched and very well received by retailers and industry insiders. For those familiar with the earlier version of the Run Trainer™ GPS watch, this next generation product is smaller with a high resolution display offering a wide range of runners compelling reasons to buy Timex over the competition.
A new booth was featured at the show to deliver an updated brand message leveraging inspirational lifestyle images of the Timex Multisport Team athletes without compromising the functionality to perform meetings with retailers and media. Approximately 100 meetings were conducted over the four day period delivering revenue, future distribution growth and editorial opportunities in print and online outlets.
OR connects approximately 46,000 attendees on a semi-annual basis for its Summer and Winter Market shows.
